For REALS this time.... really

I've been debating for a while whether or not to do this post... mostly because the fear of failure. BUT, I NEED to have POSITIVE thoughts and just DO IT!!! As you can see, I removed that old weight loss ticker.. it hadn't moved in a while, so I figured I didn't need it anymore. I didn't gain that weight back, but I'm nowhere near where I want to be... so, i'm starting over, fresh. This time, i'm not viewing it as a "diet" but more of a lifestyle change.. I need to do this, not only for myself, but for my family. I heard something a while back that really hit me.. "I can't be everything to everybody, and not take care of myself" I HAVE to come first.. I NEED to take better care of myself and get healthy! I know that when I reach my goal, I will only be stronger and I know it will make me a better wife and mommy! So, as of today.. I'm on it, FULL FORCE! I will be sticking to a 1500 calorie diet, and hitting the gym 4-5days a week! I weighed in this morning and I will weigh in again next friday and so on and post my progress on the ticker.. this time it WILL be moving! Wish me luck!

This boy keeps me VERY busy!!

it's at this point where I usually hear him start fussing because he's stuck... and what do I do??? Grab my camera of course!

He's also been taking over Paige's Car.. Climbing in it ALL BY HIMSELF!

And most recently, pulling himself up and standing!!

As you can see he is a VERY busy little man.. which means that i'm a VERY busy Momma!!

Our Anniversary Date

Our anniversary was on Thursday, the 14th.. But James was gone training until the 15th :( That didn't keep him from arranging a special delivery on Thursday!
These beauties were delivered to me on Thursday! When they arrived, none of them were even opened up yet.. there are still quite a few that still need to bloom (?is that the word for it?) So i'm hoping they last longer since they're so freshy-fresh!

Then, on Saturday night my parents came and watched the babies while we went out to dinner. We went to The Melting Pot.... can you say YUMMY!! I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and if you haven't been, I strongly suggest going! We made a reservation and told them it was our anniversary and we were sat at this secluded, corner booth.. all to ourselves.. very nice! We had a great night and still can't believe it's been 4 years!!!

Sunday was my Grandmas 70th birthday! Since she didn't want a party, we just went out to Steer and Stein for lunch and then back to our house for dessert and presents.

My wonderful grandparents... i'm so lucky to have them in my life and so thankful that my babies know and love them SO much! They prefer them over mommy and daddy anyday! (not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing!!!)

Flashback Friday

This is where it all started... this was mine and James' first picture together. It was taken New Years Eve 2004 and we had only been dating about a month. James had been in Texas visiting his family the couple days prior but changed his flight and flew home early to spend New Years with me :)

4 years ago today....

I married my best friend!! I love you James SO much and i'm so thankful for everything you do for me and for our family! I can't wait to see what God has in store for us and our future.. 4 years down, only about forever more to go!!!

Cars Ice!! (Disney on Ice)

Cars Ice!! Is Paige's way of saying Disney on Ice! The show was in Ontario through last weekend so we took Paige... This little girl is OBSESSED with the movie "Cars" so we knew she'd love it! She has also been loving Minnie Mouse lately and she also made an appearance so Paige had a great time!

Paige's first snow cone.. and her car hat Daddy bought her. The hat came with cotton candy (which I think Daddy really bought for himself) but Paige wouldn't even try it.. i'm not complaining though, she gets PLENTY of sugar!!

The Tinkerbell/Fairy part was kinda long and she kinda lost interest but all in all it was a great day!

Fun stuff!

Zoo trip

We had so much fun this past weekend.. James and I hadn't been to the San Diego Zoo in quite a few years and both babies have never been so we decided to head on out! The babies were SO GOOD! The both loved it!

Our first stop was the camels.. SO GROSS! I never knew they were such a disgusting animal! **Notice the foaming of the mouth**

Luke was disgusted too.... :)
