Take me out to the ballgame!

One of our FAVORITE things to do together is go to Angel games! We started going together way back when we were dating and it's something that we try to do at least a few times each season :) We went last friday when the Angels were playing the Braves and we had a blast!

Before the game, we had a quick,cheap,deltaco drive thru romantic dinner.. just the 2 of us :)

A day with my girl :)

Yesterday, while Luke was napping and James was watching the Angel game Paige and I snuck off for some girl time :) First thing we did was get her bangs cut.

 Then we went to the nail salon for pedicures! It was Paige's first time and she was in HEAVEN! She did SO well.. just sat on my lap the whole time. I LOVED that part :)

SO fun! I loved having the quality time with my girl and she really loved being pampered!

Bouris Ranch

One of our last MOPS outings of the year was at a fellow Mom's Family ranch. This ranch was AMAZING! They had an outrageous amount of tractors, lemon/orange trees and just wide open space for kids to run around and have a great time! (Is that Dixie Chicks song "wide open spaces" in your head now.. cuz it's in mine..haha!)

 It was HOT outside so after exploring the ranch a little bit, we all headed to a covered area and enjoyed the shade and some yummy otter pops!

 And we even got to pick some fruit off of the trees!

 We ended the day with some yummy frozen yogurt and SHOPPING for the Mom's.. it was a GREAT day!

Mother's Day

Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on,
pooped on,
chewed on,
peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never stayed up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Befor I was a Mom, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him/her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much.

Before I was a Mom, I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was OK.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the LOVE,
the heartache,
the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling SO much,
Before I was a Mom.


 I am SO blessed to be a Mommy and this Mothers Day I was showered with love, flowers and gifts! Oh.. and yummy Mexican food :)
My Parents, Grandparents, and sister all came over and we went to my FAVORITE mexican place, Guadalajara's.. YUM!

Fun in the Sun!

The weather here lately has been nice and HOT! We are all LOVING this little taste of summer! We spent some time with my friend Amberlynn and her boys a few weeks ago for some popsicles and water fun! All the kids had a blast and us Mom's had fun doing what we do best.. talking of course :)
