Easter 2012

So I'm a tad behind once again... Surprised? :)

We had such a fun Easter weekend! We went to Sea World as a family on Friday and then James and I went to an Angel game Saturday night. No pics of either one of those outings because my camera battery died.. Boo!!
I did manage to get a few pics Saturday night dying eggs and then Easter morning :)

This was the FIRST time James and I have ever dyed Easter eggs together. He has either been working, deployed or just away with work in some form so this year was extra special!

Even though Paige was a little grumpy.. LOL

 We went out in the backyard bright and EARLY for our Easter egg hunt

 I think it was around this time when James and I heard the dogs inside the house knock the locking stick down in the sliding glass door. Funny, right? NOT! We laughed for a quick second and then we realized that we were indeed LOCKED OUT of our house thanks to our annoying, destructive, adorable pups!

 James ended up breaking the window in our laundry room...

 and sending kaylynn through to unlock the door and let us all in.. and this is all before 8am!!

I kinda forgot about my camera after our eventful morning but it was a fun filled blessed day full of family and love! Hope you all had a great Easter!!

A day at the Flower Fields

Yesterday we went to the Carlsbad flower fields and it was G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!

 There wasn't a whole lot there for the kids to do, but they both loved looking at all the flowers and giving me a hard time posing for pictures :)

 We did our best trying to get some good shots of the kids, some of them turned out really cute!

 LOVE this one of my girl!

 Seriously if you live locally, you MUST check out this place... SO beautiful!

 After we walked around for a bit, we took the kids on the wagon/tractor ride

Such a fun afternoon... even though our day ended up with Luke in the Urgent Care!! BOO sinus infections!!!
