My BIG boy!!

Luke had his 1 year well baby check up today and let me tell you.. he's off the charts! He is a BIG boy.. 25lbs 13 oz and 31 1/2 inches long.. WOW!! He is in the 95th percentile for his height and weight and his head measurement was off the charts..haha.. gotta have somewhere to put all those brains, right? :)
Here are a few pics, before shots of course.. I'm a nice mommy so instead of taking pictures while he was screaming after getting poked, I comforted my little man:)

Also, the week before James left we had a little birthday party for Luke at our house. It was a cowboy themed party and he had a great time and got SO MUCH stuff.. especially clothes, which is what he needed most! I was coming down with strep throat and felt AWFUL that day so I hardly took any pictures! I was so upset with myself! I took more picture of the cupcakes than my baby!! Here are a few of the ones I took

we had vanilla cupcakes (dyed blue) with chocolate frosting and white chocolate sheriff badge molds..

and red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and milk chocolate horse molds.. soo yummy and soo cute!

Luke's little cake with the little cowboy mold (sugar) on top.. this was also the design on Luke's shirt.. of course no picture of him in it though :(

My big 1 year old! He was NOT interested in the cake at all!!
