So with Fall in full swing (if only the weather would cooperate!) I have been on the hunt for all things PUMPKIN!
I LOVE pumpkin! Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin candles, Pumpkin Pancakes and of course Pumpkin Bread! I found this supper yummy recipe the other day on allrecipes and thought I would share. Me and Paige had a great time making this bread together.. and even more fun eating it! It was SO good! Here is the recipe!
Pumpkin Bread
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs lightly beaten
1 (16oz) can solid pack pumpkin
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 cup water
Directions:
In a large bowl combine sugar, oil and eggs. Add pumpkin and mix well. Combine dry ingredients add to the pumpkin mixture alternately with water. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 60-65 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Cool completely.
The finished product! I added a glaze but it would have tasted just as yummy without it!
