WICKED!!

On Saturday Lori, Cameron my Mom and myself went and saw Wicked! It was AWESOME and we had a GREAT time! I can't wait until it's in town again so I can see it a second time! I didn't take very many pictures...but heres my ghetto picture of the sign inside the glass: )

After the play, we went and ate some yummy food at the Rock Bottom brewery... We were in downtown San Diego and we had no idea where anything was so we ate at the first place we saw :) Thanks girls gor a great day! We should definitely do it more often!

Flashback Friday

This week would have been James' moms 58th birthday so, I decided this Flashback Friday would be for her. As most of you know, we lost James' mom to breast cancer almost 3 years ago. These pictures were taken at our wedding just 8 months before she passed away. Happy Birthday Grandma Shannon! We love and miss you! We know birthday parties in heaven far surpass the ones here on earth! We love and miss you!

Since we finally have a place where the kids can play outside, we thought we should probably get a few outside toys! We were planning on getting Paige a cozy coupe car and then James spotted this. It's a remote controlled VW bug looking car.. it's super cute! The thing we love about it, is that we control where she goes in it.. but shh she doesn't realize that yet! Paige LOVES it!

She wasn't able to ride in it right away because it had to charge overnight.. she loved sitting in it though :)

Back to school!

Yesterday, Kaylynn started her first day of second grade at a new school! I can't believe she's in the second grade already! She seems to really enjoy this school and I already really like her teacher. Back to school night was also yesterday and for the first time, James and I were both able to attend. Here she is on her first day... Just think, in 3 short years i'll be sending Paigey off to kindergarten :*(

Sea World

Last Tuesday we loaded up the Expedition and took the girls (and Grace, my friends daughter) to Sea World. We actually all got in for free thanks to Sea Worlds " Salute to Heroes" Enlisted military members and up to 4 guests can get in for free once a year.. what a deal! We had a great day. It was Paige's first time and we didn't get to do everything I would have liked.. like the Shamu show, but she really enjoyed it! I think the next time we go, we will choose a day NOT in the month of August! It was HOT!!!

Family from Texas

This past weekend James' Grandma, younger sister Eryn and Step-Dad Paul came to visit us. It was their first time meeting Luke and the last time they saw Paige and Kaylynn was over a year ago! We had a great visit and on Saturday had my parents, grandparents, sister, a few of my cousins and family friends over for a big bbq... we had a HOUSE FULL but it was a blast!
