Our 2nd annual Christmas party!

We hosted our 2nd annual Christmas party back on December 23rd.. We decided our theme would be Crazy Christmas Hats! Some people definitely got a little CRAZY with their hats! Take my husband for example.....
Grandma and Grandpa came with homemade hats... very creative! Grandpa actually won the crazy hat contest!

 Lori and Camryn

I should have taken a picture of ALL the food we had! It was YUMMY! We enjoyed Chilli, cornbread, deli sandwiches, chips, veggies and dip and of course chocolate dipped pretzel rods and LOTS of cookies and fudge!
Aunt Debbie, Uncle Bruce and cousin Diana
Me and my long time friend, Stefanie!
The kids also had a small gift exchange

 She LOVED her gift!
 Spiderman jammies!!

The adults had the hat contest and a gift card exchange
A few of the other crazy hats! My parents and sisters were also homemade!
 The winner and his prize!
We had SO much fun.. Can't wait to host again next year. I'm already thinking up a new theme... :)

SNOW much fun!

We had SO much fun last year when we made our first trip to Big Bear that we decided to make it an annual tradition! So, a few days before Christmas we bundled up and headed up the mountain!
We played in an area that had some DEEP snow and some really fun little slopes!

Paige and Luke weren't quite as impressed this year. But, in their defense it was COLD and it was hard to walk in the snow at times!
They did enjoy making snow angels, though!

Oh and of course throwing snowballs!
I took a turn on the slope.. SO much fun!
 I couldn't get up and I couldn't stop laughing!
 WEEE!!!

The kids and James made a snowman..

 Isn't that a beauty? :) Looks more like a snowbird to me..ha!
After playing for a while, we went to the village and had some yummy mexican food and some warm hot chocolate!

It was SNOW much fun! :)
This last picture I took was because of the MASSIVE icecicles on this hotel! CrAzy!!

More Christmas Festivities

Our good friends, The Whalens had their annual Christmas party the week before Christmas. We always have a lot of fun with them. Their parties are always filled with good food, fun games and alot of laughter!
Oh and we can't forget about the yummy sugar cookies on a stick!!
Me and the hostess, Kelly. We've been friends for about 16 years! Wow!

The kids and adults did separate ornament exchanges. Paige ended up with a Penguin..
And Luke ended up with the one Paigey brought, a nativity ornament...  or what they call it, the baby Jesus. They both LOVED this ornament and were SO excited to end up with it :)

There was even a *surprise* visitor! Santa!
All of the kids received a gift (brought by the parents of course) and were able to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they were wishing for Christmas!
Santa brought Luke a Spiderman coloring book and crayons.
 And Paigey got barbie squinkies!

TRYING to get a family picture!
