Anyone else obsessed with PUMPKIN?!?!

So with Fall in full swing (if only the weather would cooperate!) I have been on the hunt for all things PUMPKIN!
I LOVE pumpkin! Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin candles, Pumpkin Pancakes and of course Pumpkin Bread! I found this supper yummy recipe the other day on allrecipes and thought I would share. Me and Paige had a great time making this bread together.. and even more fun eating it! It was SO good! Here is the recipe!
Pumpkin Bread
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs lightly beaten
1 (16oz) can solid pack pumpkin
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 cup water
Directions:
In a large bowl combine sugar, oil and eggs. Add pumpkin and mix well. Combine dry ingredients add to the pumpkin mixture alternately with water. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 60-65 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Cool completely.

The finished product! I added a glaze but it would have tasted just as yummy without it!

DeJong's Dairy tour

MOPS started back up last week (Yay!) and one of our first group outings was to Dejong's Dairy for a tour :)

Paigey said "this thing is uuuuugly!" LOL!

We started off the tour by going inside and seeing where the cows are milked and the machines used.

The nice (and patient!) lady was trying to get Paige to touch it... NOPE!

Explaining to the kids how the milk is packaged.. the kids were REAL interested in every word she was saying.. can you tell? :)

Then we went outside and got to feed the cows!

Paieg is fearless when it comes to animals!

As you can see, Luke is a little more cautious :) That's as close as he got.

FOUR years old!!

Back on the 19th, our sweet Paigey Poo turned the big 4! I can't even believe how FAST time flies.. She is SUCH a light in my life! She wakes every morning (before the sun comes up) with a big smile and a cuddle! She is definitely a Momma's girl and I LOVE it! I LOVE that she still wants me to carry her to bed each night AND still sing her twinkle twinkle little star AKA- The "night night song" I am truly soaking up every second with this sweet girl because I know before I know it she'll be in school! We are SO thankful God chose us to be this precious little girls parents! We love you baby girl!

On her actual birthday we didn't do much since we had just had her big party.

Daddy went and got her a special birthday treat for breakfast, a chocolate donut!...her favorite!

After enjoying her special breakfast treat we went to Gymnastics class and then just hung out at home and enjoyed our girl! Her request for dinner was Cici's pizza! This girl LOVES pizza!

Celebrating Paigey- Strawberry Shortcake Style!

Last weekend we celebrated Paige's FOURTH (OMGosh I can't believe she's FOUR!!) birthday with a Strawberry Shortcake party... per Paigey's request!

Seriously, look at this banner we had outside.. See anything wrong with it?? What a waste of 5 bucks! She sure did look awfully cute in front of it though.. and maybe no one even noticed :)
