Del Mar Fair

James had a couple days off this week and one of the things we had planned was a trip to the fair! It was HOT..but SO much fun!

The kids were all excited to get our day started!

 We went on some rides...

 SO stinkin' HOT in this dumb dragon thing.. seriously should've been called the dragon sauna!

 What's the point of going to the fair without some of the YUMMY treats?!? ICE CREAM!!

 We ended up leaving with a new pet.. A goldifsh named Molly. Paige was SO excited about the little fish and I was going to do a whole other post on that..but..Luke got a hold of poor little Molly and well that didn't go so well :( Molly ended up spending too much time out of the water and died :( Paige was so heartbroken! So I will be doing a post about our new goldfish after we go get our replacement :)

Beach Trip!

We have had some nice, WARM, summer weather lately so last weekend we took a trip to the beach! We all had a great time.. even though Paige and Luke only lasted about 2 hours :)

 Luke had a great time THROWING sand at us! Hard to see but his right arm is up ready to throw a handful at James..

We LOVE Daddy!!

We had such a great Fathers day this year! Thinking back to last year with James being deployed, it truly makes me treasure EVERY single day with him... but especially Father's Day! 

We got up and had a big breakfast, gave him his gifts and then went to the Murrieta Father's Day car show. These cars were AMAZING! As you can see in the pics below, the little ones weren't in the best moods so we only stayed about an hour.. but still enjoyed our time there :)

After everyone left we got out the firepit and made some yummy S'mores! One of my favorite things to do in the summer!

A day at Tom's Farm's

Yesterday the weather was nice and warm so we took the kids to Tom's Farm's. On the weekends, they have a craft fair, pony rides, a petting zoo and a lot more fun stuff to do. James took the kids into the petting zoo and I made sure to stay out with my camera :)

Welcome Summertime!!!

WOO-HOO!! Summer is here!!

We started our first official day of summer vacation with lots of fun! I took the kids to the library and signed them up for the summer reading program. Kaylynn and Paige LOVE books and LOVE to read. Luke, well.. the library isn't really his "thing" yet but he was a good sport and sat quietly (surprisingly) in the stroller the whole time :)

Depite the looks on their faces, they really were happy to be there :)

 After the library, we came home and had lunch and then put this little monster down for a nap...

 ...and the girls had some pool time!

 And a summer day would not be complete without popsicles!!

 After his nap, Luke got to join in on the fun too :)
