Making Christmas Memories!

We truly had SUCH a magical Christmas this year. Our kids are right at the age where it's just SO fun and heart warming to watch their sweet, innocent faces fill with pure joy as they come down the stairs to see all that has been left for them! They are also at an age where I feel it is SO crucial to instill in them the TRUE meaning of Christmas which is the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! They all know that we are celebrating Jesus' birthday and that is TRULY the greatest gift of all! We attended our church's Christmas service 2 days before Christmas and it was such an AWESOME and inspiring service! SUCH a great way to re-focus even my own heart on the real reason for this season and not let the "hustle and the bustle" and the "stress" of the holidays distract me from that.

After our Christmas Eve festivities were through, James and I  Santa worked hard through the night to create a magical Christmas for the little ones!
This is the family tree.. all the presents from Mommy and Daddy.. plus the stockings filled by Santa :)

This is the kids tree and also where Santa leaves his gifts. They each got 3 from him this year. This year was the first year that we had a tree for just the kids and Kaylynn thought it was "SO cool" that Santa knew to leave all his gifts for them there... that's one smart Santa :)
The kids are awake, let the fun begin!!
Paigey got a princess art set, princess chair and leapster video game thing from Santa.
Luke got a Buzz chair, a bike (which he LOVES) and some little jumping toy :)
I think Kaylynn's favorite gift was her guitar from us. Santa brought her a motorized scooter, a tinkerbell skateboard and a barbie w/a horse.

Of course, Daddy and Kaylynn had to go right out and try out the power scooter!
 Ok Daddy, Kaylynn's turn!!

After we opened up our presents as a family, we had breakfast and then my parents, sister and grandparents came over to spend the rest of the day with us and SPOIL us all even more!

The adults all drew names before Thanksgiving so when the kids were through opening their presents, it was our turn!

 Me and my L*O*V*E
I think my Dad liked his gifts...
Grandma liked her gifts but does NOT like her pictures taken :)
My mom made my Grandpa a beautiful family picture album.. he spent the rest of the afternoon reminiscing with my Grandma as they looked through it together. It was so cute :)
 Can't forget about Toby dog!
I didn't take very many pictures after that because I was too busy playing with my kids and making memories with my family :) We had a GREAT Christmas and hope you all did too!
